La solución de Inteligencia Artificial de Johnson Controls es una plataforma de aprendizaje profundo cuya efectividad es escalable a futuro, lo que permite que cada vez sea más precisa porque, cuantos más datos reciba el programa, más eficiente será el algoritmo de aprendizaje profundo, lo que permite que el desempeño de la tecnología operacional incremente su efectividad en comparación con las operaciones algorítmicas convencionales.
“Los analíticos de IA, actúan como sensores virtuales que expanden el uso de la tecnología ya existente, lo que permite que se proporcione una inteligencia accionable que puede ser utilizada en seguridad, operaciones y que incrementa la disponibilidad de las métricas que impulsan los servicios, por tan solo mencionar algunas”, afirmó Luis Enrique Bonilla, Gerente de Desarrollo de Negocios para Latinoamérica y el Caribe de Johnson Controls.
Considerando que los datos son el combustible que alimenta la IA, así como, el hecho de que las cámaras de video y los sensores de control de acceso registran una gran cantidad de datos, la IA es clave para aumentar la inteligencia de los sistemas y dispositivos, haciendo de ellos herramientas que puedan “ver” donde los humanos no pueden.
“Podemos afirmar que la Inteligencia Artificial va más allá de solamente recopilar datos y, en el caso de la videovigilancia, puede ser empleada para detectar patrones sumando los datos que recopila y analiza junto con los datos históricos, lo que permite hacer predicciones a futuro y establecer conexiones de eventos sin aparente relación”, destacó también Bonilla.
La IA dota, asimismo, a los sistemas de visión artificial que le permite extraer y clasificar los elementos visuales en rostros, objetos, escenas y actividades, facilitando la categorización de contenidos en imágenes y video y poder, así, autentificar imágenes en alta resolución que pudieran ser utilizadas para “engañar” al sistema.
Otra herramienta que usa la IA es el reconocimiento facial, indispensable en la videovigilancia, el cual permite que, ante la aparición de un rostro sospechoso, el sistema sea capaz de generar las alarmas necesarias para mantener a salvo a quienes se encuentren en el área, bien sean visitantes o empleados.
“Los analíticos de IA de Jonhson Controls facultan a quienes están encargados del control de acceso de diferenciar características típicas de la morfología del rostro gracias a su reconocimiento 3D y les ayuda a la toma de decisiones al evitar que dos personas ingresen a través del sistema con el uso de una misma credencial lo cual le otorga una potente capacidad antifraude”, puntualizó Bonilla.
Con la IA aplicada a la videovigilancia se busca, entre otros objetivos, que la seguridad electrónica tenga una mayor relevancia, que se incremente la eficiencia operacional y que se pueda preservar la integridad física del recurso humano a cargo de las operaciones de monitoreo de estos sistemas.
