Necesidades actuales y futuras de los usuarios en sistemas de CCTV

Con frecuencia, los departamentos de I+D desarrollan su trabajo en base a la aplicación de su formación y conocimiento técnico. En LANACCESS, además, contamos con la experiencia de varios directores de Seguridad, quiénes aportamos una visión real de las necesidades actuales y futuras del mercado.
¿Qué necesitamos?
La necesidad de apoyar nuestro trabajo como directores de Seguridad en los circuitos cerrados de televisión (CCTV) es cada vez mayor, con independencia de si somos responsables en un único edificio o en centenares de ellos o del sector de nuestra actividad. Nuestras necesidades y la información aportada por los sistemas de vídeo aumentan al mismo ritmo que lo hacen la tecnología y los riesgos.
Básicamente, los directores de Seguridad necesitamos lo siguiente:
– Que nos permita comprobar y valorar el nivel de riesgo de las alertas que generan otros subsistemas como las detecciones de intrusos, los controles de acceso y las detecciones de incendios. Esto es: una vigilancia en tiempo real o en vivo.
– Que nos permita analizar y documentar situaciones que han comprometido la seguridad de nuestras instalaciones. Esto es: acceso a las grabaciones.
En ambos casos, nuestra necesidad tiende a que las cámaras abarquen la mayor superficie posible. Es decir, estamos aumentando mucho el número de cámaras instaladas y estamos incrementando la calidad de las imágenes. Y con ello, la cantidad de información a almacenar en forma de datos y en muchos casos a transmitir, con un aumento de nuestras necesidades de ancho de banda.
A estas necesidades básicas o elementales, las tecnologías actuales están aportando una mayor resolución de imagen, Inteligencia Artificial, plataformas de integración de sistemas (P-SIM), etc.
Por otra parte, necesitamos que los sistemas de vídeo sean robustos y fiables. Que su manejo sea intuitivo para nuestros operadores de sistemas y que el soporte técnico sea rápido y eficaz. Todo ello sin olvidar que nuestros CCTV también deben ser ahora ciberseguros y monitorizar sus fallos en tiempo real.
Futuro próximo
El futuro próximo es casi una realidad en la actualidad. Pese a que algunas de las tecnologías aplicadas están en sus fases iniciales, estamos seguros de que todos los fabricantes hacemos un gran esfuerzo en I+D.
La Inteligencia Artificial (IA) aplicada al CCTV está logrando extraer datos o metadatos del contenido de las imágenes que, mediante su ordenación y clasificación, serán considerados información. Esta, debidamente analizada, se convertirá en inteligencia. Estamos cerca de lograr lo que hace pocos años considerábamos utopías, como detectar al delincuente en nuestros accesos o localizar una secuencia de vídeo con solo hacer una descripción del sospechoso (tenía camisa azul, coche rojo, etc.).
Las tecnologías de reconocimiento facial en América y Asia tendrán un mercado potencial más grande que el de la vieja Europa, que se encuentra encorsetada por las normas sobre la protección de datos y sigue sin encontrar el equilibrio entre el derecho a la protección y el derecho a la seguridad.
En esta línea, la aplicación del reconocimiento facial en colaboración con las bases de datos policiales y las distintas policías nacionales e internacionales, especialmente con la incipiente Ameripol, será, sin duda, una excelente herramienta de lucha contra el crimen organizado.
A medida que estas colaboraciones entre Ameripol, Europol e Interpol avancen y entiendan que la colaboración tecnológica con la seguridad privada es un aliado natural, con una capilaridad enorme en cada sociedad con el respaldo de las nuevas tecnologías, la lucha contra la delincuencia puede ser muy eficaz.
