El complejo deportivo y de entretenimiento Chelsea Piers es una villa deportiva de 12 hectáreas situada entre las calles 17 y 23 a lo largo del río Hudson en Manhattan. Problema
Chelsea Piers quería actualizar su anticuado sistema de comunicaciones con una solución de telefonía IP PBX basada en la nube. Solución

TeleDynamics permitió a Chelsea Piers aprovechar su infraestructura de red existente para evitar el riesgo, el alto coste y la complejidad del recableado. “Si hubiéramos tenido que volver a cablear, habríamos tenido que construir varios armarios IDF para cada muelle, con enlaces ascendentes de fibra entre ellos y capacidades de conmutación/transmisión para cada uno”, dijo Stuart Sheinbaum. “La posibilidad de utilizar el cableado CAT3 existente en toda nuestra instalación generalizada fue un factor decisivo para elegir el switch PoLRE de NVT Phybridge. Recablear todas nuestras instalaciones con cableado CAT6 habría sido una tarea monumental y prohibitiva. El switch PoLRE era nuestra oportunidad de oro para actualizar sin problemas nuestros sistemas de comunicación con un sistema de última generación a un coste razonable.
