Los candados bluetooh y controladores Sera4 aportan valor al mercado

Sera4 desembarca en la región de la mano de ABEI y se encuentra desarrollando canales integradores y resellers. La Compañía es la representante para Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Bolivia y Uruguay de los candados Bluetooh y los controladores canadienses que prometen redefinir el segmento mediante su llave electrónica.

Nacidos para proteger instalaciones remotas y críticas en el área de comunicaciones, la tecnología de Sera4 se extendió a aplicaciones de seguridad en diversas industrias, en minería, petróleo, sector eléctrico, entre otros; brindando un control de acceso seguro, práctico e innovador. El candado Bluetooh AP3 y los controladores AX5 presentan una nueva perspectiva para soluciones robustas de control de acceso, en entornos donde las llaves físicas, tarjetas magnéticas y claves numéricas, resultan relativamente fáciles de violar o corromper.
En entrevista con Álvaro Bourlot y Carlos Steiner, fundadores de ABEI, conocemos el origen de la Compañía, las ventajas de los productos, su plataforma de gestión, y la nueva oportunidad de negocio que ofrecen al mercado de la seguridad electrónica.

¿Cómo nace ABEI?

ABEI fue creada por Álvaro Bourlot y Carlos Steiner en el año 2018 con el objetivo claro de enfocarnos en la gestión de activos de una infraestructura eléctrica de generación, transmisión y distribución. Creamos y representamos tecnología que brinda soluciones a los clientes.
En 2019 conocimos a Sera4®, una empresa creada por ex miembros de la renombrada compañía de telefonía celular BlackBerry. Así nació una división dentro de ABEI, que tiene como objetivo la gestión de activos desde la perspectiva del control de acceso.

Para desarrollar este segmento, sumamos a Luciano Toledo de SICON. Luciano tiene una larga trayectoria de trabajo en sistemas de seguridad y su mirada y experiencia nos resultan muy valiosas. Cuando Luciano vio la solución de Sera4® quedó sorprendido por la cantidad de aplicaciones que puede ofrecer, más allá del objetivo original de su concepción.

¿Cómo implementan esta tecnología para el control de accesos?

Inicialmente Sera4® desarrolló esta tecnología para el área de comunicaciones. Nosotros en ABEI vimos su potencial para el rubro eléctrico, petróleo, industria y minería, pero con el correr del tiempo y la mirada de Luciano, nos dimos cuenta que en realidad tiene potencial de aplicación a toda empresa que requiera implementar un control de acceso seguro, práctico e innovador. Consideramos que es la evolución de los controles de accesos.

¿Cómo la distribuyen? ¿Cuentan con cupos para nuevos resellers e integradores?

Para continuar con la expansión en la región, estamos seleccionando resellers e integradores en Latinoamérica. Tenemos varios en algunas provincias argentinas y países limítrofes, pero contamos con zonas disponibles para distribución, ya que aspiramos a abarcar toda la región.

¿Qué proyección tienen?

Nuestro proyecto es llegar a todo el mercado entre este año y el próximo. Para apoyar a nuestros resellers, hemos creado un kit de demostración básico que contiene un controlador con accesorios y un candado.

¿Cómo nace Sera4?

Sera4® advirtió un grave problema de control de acceso a los torres de comunicaciones de todo el continente. En general, el método de acceso eran llaves físicas, tarjetas magnéticas o teclados numéricos. Sistemas que resultaron ser poco seguros o relativamente fáciles de corromper, con enrolamientos biométricos engorrosos y poco prácticos; como así también de difícil implementación en lugares remotos, permitiendo robos y vandalismo descontrolado.
En respuesta a esto, la Compañía creó el candado Bluetooh AP3 y los controladores AX5. Un desarrollo exclusivo, creado en Canadá y bajo estándares internacionales, con Certificado IK10 y IP66.

Candado AP3

El candado AP3 es de construcción extremadamente robusta, ideal para controlar el acceso en lugares remotos. Con unas dimensiones de 135 mm de alto (F), 60 mm de largo (E), 29 mm deancgo (G), 10mm de barra (A) y un peso de 700 gramos es claramente un candado muy resistente. Incluye una batería que tiene una vida de 5 años y un puerto USB para energizarlo en caso de emergencia desde el puerto USB del Smartphone. Integra sensores de apertura y cierre, luz de estado, puntos de amarre y opcionalmente desbloqueo con un código temporal provisto por el administrador del software Teleporte.
Este candado es muy utilizado en torres de comunicación, subestaciones eléctricas, centrales de generación, minería, establecimientos agrícolas y agropecuarios e industria en general.

Controlador AX5

El controlador AX5 se conecta a cualquier tipo de cerradura eléctrica. Tiene una fuente principal de alimentación, una fuente de alimentación de respaldo y batería. Se le pueden conectar sensores de apertura y cierre de puerta y un botón de apertura para permitir el egreso rápido. Además se pueden conectar relés adicionales y controlar motores. Mide 90x60x25 mm y pesa 66 gramos, esto permite instalarlo fácilmente en el interior de cualquier gabinete o puerta.
Este dispositivo es muy buscado por empresas de seguridad para controlar el acceso a sitios seguros mediante puertas, como centros de control, data centers, gabinetes de protecciones, pañol de herramientas, entre otras tantas aplicaciones.

La solución se completa con la aplicación Teleporte, esta puede ser instalada en cualquier Smartphone. Es gratuita y está disponible en Google Play y Apple AppStore.

¿Cómo funciona?

Cuando un usuario se acerca al candado o controlador, este es detectado por la aplicación y si tiene asignada una llave electrónica vigente podrá abrirlo. En caso de no tener llave electrónica, podrá solicitarla al administrador.
Comunicación
La comunicación entre el candado o el controlador y el smartphone es mediante bluetooth. Por lo tanto, los equipos pueden instalarse en zona remotas sin cobertura. Cuando el smartphone recupere la señal transferirá los datos suministrados por los equipos a la plataforma de gestión Teleporte.

Validación de usuarios

Cada usuario de la aplicación ingresa a su cuenta personal con contraseña o acceso biométrico.

Centro de control

En el centro de control de la empresa corre la misma aplicación Teleporte de Sera4® en una PC, donde un administrador asigna llaves electrónicas temporales o permanentes a cada usuario. La plataforma se gestiona a través de un sitio web, por lo que no requiere instalación de software.
Teleporte de Sera4® digitaliza y automatiza el proceso de control de acceso físico para infraestructuras críticas.
Los administradores de Teleporte otorgan a los operadores aprobados acceso programado a sitios o activos, y obtienen información completa sobre quién, cuándo, dónde y cómo se accedió en su red.

Ventajas de implementación

Teleporte se conecta sin problemas a las plataformas de gestión y supervisión existentes. La seguridad está integrada en el sistema desde cero, sin necesidad de agregar capas adicionales de seguridad.
Teleporte incluye servicios de vanguardia en la nube alojados en centros de datos de alta disponibilidad en todo el mundo. Cada instancia de Teleporte se comunica con un tablero y otros sistemas a través de una API REST.
Cuenta además, con APIs que permiten la integración con sistemas de terceros.

Diferenciales de seguridad

El software Teleporte registra a quién se le dio una llave virtual y qué administrador se la asignó, si la usó o no, cuándo abrió el candado o controlador y cuándo se cerró. Con esto se cumplen instantáneamente los requisitos de cualquier auditoría. Además, existe la posibilidad de incorporar notas y fotos sobre cada unidad, facilitando cualquier reporte que el usuario deba realizar.

Teleporte nos permite visualizar rápidamente todos los candados y controladores de nuestra red en un mapa, mostrándonos cuales son los sitios seguros y en cuáles tenemos candados y controladores abiertos. Permite la utilización de etiquetas para administrarlos de forma más eficiente. Por ejemplo, puedes asignar una llave a todos las cerraduras de una determinada zona con un simple clic.

Queda completamente eliminado de esta forma el uso de llaves físicas y los problemas de pérdida o duplicación, traspaso de tarjetas magnéticas y códigos de teclados numéricos. Sobre todo se eliminan la necesidad de enrollamientos biométricos y la anonimidad del acceso a un sitio donde se resguardan activos críticos o elementos de valor. De hecho, su sistema de encriptación cumple con los estándares de grado bancario a nivel global. Tiene adicionalmente una opción para requerir simultáneamente más de una llave electrónica virtual, requiriendo dos o hasta tres operadores con su propio Smartphone y llave virtual autorizada.

¿Qué tipo de apoyo ofrecen para la instalación?

En lo que refiere a la instalación, desde ABEI brindamos una capacitación sobre el uso del software Teleporte y el hardware para nuestros resellers e integradores. La realizamos de forma remota o presencial, y no dura más de un día. Adicionalmente, brindamos soporte y asistencia técnica de forma permanente.
Entiendo que las aplicaciones son muchísimas.

Exactamente. Por su alto nivel de seguridad, robustez, y a la vez simplicidad en la implementación, tanto el candado como la controladora logran resolver situaciones que van más allá de si concepción original, e incluso de nuestra idea inicial. Por ello, estamos abiertos a incluir más resellers e integradores que seguramente encontrarán nuevas aplicaciones.
